About us
Originally from New Zealand, I have been living in Dublin for six years. I have run a successful private practice in Glenageary since qualifying in Neuromuscular Therapy and Orthopaedic Sports Massage in 2004. I constantly update my skills by doing workshops, seminars and further courses – most recently a second qualification in Dry Needling techniques.
I worked for a year with Kilmacud Crokes GAA senior football team and then for 3 seasons with Lansdowne Rugby Club with whom I still work. With the rugby team, I provide pre-event massage on match days, sports massage at practice sessions, and treat the players individually at my clinic. As part of a medical team we see a large variety of injuries from when they happen, through rehabilitation, through to complete recovery.
To keep in shape for a physically demanding job I run, do yoga and a bit of sailing. Doing sports massage with the rugby guys has also built up my strength, something essential for me to perform effective Deep Tissue Massage.
I like working with sports people but the aspect of the job I most enjoy is using Neuromuscular therapy to help people who suffer from chronic pain. My ability to locate and deactivate Trigger points means I can relieve pain and improve people's quality of life.
